Requirements

Hackathon Submission Requirements

Participants must build and submit a website following these requirements:

1. Project Requirements

  • Build a functional website based on your own idea.

  • Your website must be created during the hackathon period following the workshop.

  • Any category is welcome, including portfolios, business websites, productivity tools, landing pages, or creative projects.

  • Your project should have a clean UI, useful features, and a clear purpose.

2. Mandatory Submission Details

  • Live Website URL: A publicly accessible deployed website.

  • Source Code: GitHub repository link with the project code.

  • Project Description: A brief explanation of your idea, its purpose, and its key features.

  • Creator Details: Name, email address, and team name (if applicable).

3. Judging Criteria
Projects will be evaluated based on:

  • Creativity and originality

  • UI/UX design and visual appeal

  • Functionality and usability

  • Technical implementation

  • Overall presentation and idea execution

4. Submission Rules

  • Submit your project before the announced deadline.

  • Ensure your website is accessible and your GitHub repository is available for review.

  • Submit only projects you created or contributed to.

  • Clearly disclose the use of AI tools, templates, or external libraries.

  • Plagiarized or copied projects may be disqualified.

5. Prizes

Judging Criteria

  • Creativity & Originality
    Evaluate the uniqueness of the idea, creative problem-solving, and how original the website concept is. Extra credit for innovative approaches and distinctive ideas.
  • UI/UX Design
    Assess visual appeal, layout, typography, spacing, responsiveness, navigation, and overall user experience. The website should be intuitive and easy to use.
  • Functionality
    Evaluate how well the website works. Check interactive elements, navigation, working features, responsiveness, and whether the website fulfills its intended purpose.
  • Completeness & Presentation
    Evaluate how complete and polished the final project is, how effectively the idea is communicated, and how well the participant demonstrates the website and its key features.
